Incoming Freshman

Volleyball Camp — Incoming Freshman (9th graders) campers will receive training with an emphasis on fundamental development skills including passing, setting, attacking, blocking and serving. Instruction and drills are adapted for younger players in smaller groups. Fun and competitive activities will also go along with top volleyball instruction. Volleyball Camp — Students will receive lots of individual attention while learning fundamental and advanced skills including passing, setting, attacking, blocking and serving. Redbird Dance Team Camp — MTHS Dance Team Dancers and Coach Devery McCoy will provide instruction on dance steps, technicality of movements and new innovative dance moves.  Campers will learn an exciting dance routine to perform on the last day of camp. Girls Tennis Camp —  This fundamental tennis camp will help campers learn a fun, competitive sport that they can enjoy for a lifetime! Redbirds Soccer Camp (boys & girls) — Campers will increase their soccer knowledge, improve their technical skills, and have a great time getting to know other soccer players. Older players will receive basic tactical instruction. Camp instructors will model and teach fundamental ball skills in order to help each player grow his/her soccer experience. Redbird Offensive (Basketball) School (boys & girls) — Offensive school will focus on the basic fundamentals of passing, shooting, and dribbling.  Essential skills in becoming a great player.  We will also focus on how to attack the basket and finish. Track and Field Skill Development Camp (boys & girls) — Campers will be introduced to track and field events; learn proper warm up and cool down exercises to reduce injury and speed up recovery time and taught proper technique for events to minimize injury and maximize performance. 24th Annual Heart of Illinois All Positions Football Camp – Camp participants may choose 1 Offense position (Quarterbacks, Receivers, Running Backs, Offensive Line) and 1 Defense position (Linebackers, Defensive Backs, Defensive Line) for instruction. Lady Redbird Basketball Camp — This clinic will focus on the basic fundamentals of passing, dribbling, shooting, rebounding and defense, which are essential in becoming a great player.  It takes hard work, discipline, and dedication to become a great player, therefore each player will receive hands on instruction.  Campers will also learn drills to practice at home so they can continue to improve and become a more skilled player.  This is a camp for Champions by Champions!
