Basic Agriculture Science
ANIMAL SCIENCE I 682
Sem. – 0.5 credit; Sophomore/Junior/Senior; Prerequisite –Completed at least one science credit; Offered each Fall semester.
This semester course will introduce students to the different breeds of livestock species, their anatomy and physiology, selection and judging, and carcass evaluation. The livestock species studied will include beef cattle, swine, sheep, dairy cattle, horses and poultry.
