This is my 13th year as a History and Civics/Comparative Studies teacher at MTHS. I graduated from here in 2003 and continued my education at I.C.C. and graduated from Bradley University with a degree in History Secondary Education. Within a few years of teaching, I started and completed my Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University. I’ve been coaching football at MTHS since 2004. Some of my favorite topics in History are WW1 and the Progressive Era. For Civics and Geography, I enjoy discussing culture and current events, as well as the Constitution.
My wife, Jordan and I have two young boys at home. Hudson is a healthy and happy 3 year old and Waylon is an on-the-go 16 month old. She also works in education as a professor at the OSF College of Nursing. We enjoy spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and taking family vacations. Go Birds!
