Mandatory CPR Training – 1st Semester Health Students – November 14, 2018
Attention Parents and Guardians of all students who are currently in Health Education 2nd Semester. On Wednesday, November 14, 2018 (late start), students in Health Class will need to be at school by 8 am or upon bus arrival. Students will be completing the practical application of the State mandated CPR instruction in the Garber Gym. MARS/WARS Robotics Team Application Now Available
Metamora/Woodford Area Robotics Students (MARS/WARS) Team 4143 is a FIRST robotics team based out of Metamora, Illinois. The team is in its seventh year since its founding. The team competes competitively in FIRST Robotics sanction regionals, as well as in off season competitions. Previous accomplishments include:

The vision of MARS/WARS is to inspire tomorrow’s innovators through technology, competition, and service. This vision extends beyond the competitive build season, as team members are imparted with knowledge and skills that will benefit in their professional careers. A quintessential value of the team is the promotion of education in Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) and team members as well as individuals of the community are encourage to pursue careers in the STEM field.

WHITEOUT for WALLACE – November 27, 2018
MTHS is proud to support the WHITEOUT for WALLACE event on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 5:00 pm at the Germantown Hills Middle School. Come out and cheer on our local basketball teams while also supporting a great charity like St. Jude. This event is also honoring one of MTHS’ very own, Freshman – Ian Wallace, and his fight against cancer. T-shirts are available for purchase and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to St. Jude. College Visits at MTHS
Colleges representatives are visiting MTHS this fall! Students, if you are interested in learning more about a college, sign up now for their visit. By attending a college visit you are able to get a glimpse of a specific institution. Representatives meet with interested students in the Guidance Office to discuss topics such as academic programs, campus life, financial aid and admission procedures for their college. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors are welcome to meet with college representatives. If you are interested in meeting with one of the representatives please see Miss Tina in the Guidance Office to sign up to receive a pass.
