Life Skills Peer Partner Program

The Life Skills program at MTHS is a functional, community-based curriculum for high school students with developmental disabilities.  The Life Skills Peer Partners Program encourages positive social interaction among the Life Skills students and other students at Metamora High School.  Life Skills Peer Partners perform a variety of activities including, but not limited to, assisting teachers with classroom activities, assisting students during cooking labs, playing games during recreation/leisure time, and working one-on-one with a Life Skills student.  The Life Skills Peer Partner Program is an excellent opportunity for anyone considering a career in education or any service-oriented career.
