Graduation – Sunday, May 16, 2021 – Streaming Links

Graduation will be held Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 3:30 pm.

There is a capacity limit for our event facilities set by the IDPH due to Covid19 that MTHS must follow.  Tickets are required to attend the ceremony. The goal is to hold the ceremony is outside. The stadium will open at 2:45 pm. If the weather is inclement the ceremony will be moved to the Randall Toepke Gymnasium (North Gym) and Auditorium where the ceremony will be streamed live.

We understand the attendance policy is not ideal, therefore, the event is being streamed whether it is inside or outside.  The links are included and will be live at approximately 3:15.

Senior Awards Assembly – May 5th

Seniors and other students will be recognized at this annual event for their achievements. Due to IDPH, ISBE, and CDC spectator and room capacity guidelines only senior students, award winners and presenters will be in attendance. The event will be streamed on the NHFS network. Senior Send Off – May 6th

The Senior Send Off is scheduled for May 6th. This event will be held in the Main Parking Lot from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.  The event is free, however to help us plan, please RSVP on the google form link:  2021 Senior Send Off RSVP Form  Come enjoy games, food, and fun!

Senior Letter

Seniors please make sure pick-up your senior packet from the Main Office. This packet includes several forms that need to be completed prior to graduation. The packet also includes a letter to parents outlining graduation information.  To access the letter electronically use this link:

Seniors Last Day of School
May 7, 2021 (Friday)

The last day of school for Seniors is May 7, 2021. Seniors, please remember to clean out your lockers and return any library books, textbooks, and Chromebooks prior to this last day.


Graduation Practice / Senior Breakfast
May 14, 2021 (Friday)

Seniors – Join your classmates for the Annual Senior Breakfast in The South Gym before Graduation practice on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 8:30 am – 9:15 am. Breakfast is FREE, compliments of the Senior Class Fund.  Reservations are required so that an accurate head count is obtained.  We want to make sure we have enough food!

One mandatory practice is required in order to participate in the formal ceremony. No exceptions. Seniors participating in the formal ceremony MUST attend the mandatory practice. A make-up practice is scheduled on Saturday, May 15th at 9:00 am in the event the Friday practice is not possible. Seniors, if you have a job, please arrange  your work schedule accordingly.

Formal Ceremony – May 16, 2021 (Sunday)

Our formal graduation ceremony is scheduled for May 16th at 3:30 pm in the stadium. If the weather is inclement the ceremony will take place in the Randall Toepke Gymnasium (North Gym).

Ticket information is included in the Senior Packet. Tickets will not be issued until all fines, fees, lunch accounts and all monies due to MTHS have been paid in full. Contact Ms. Mahan in the Main Office to check the status of your student account.

Seniors have four options to receive their diploma:  formal, private, summer school, or by mail. Seniors need to submit their Graduation Ceremony Preference Form (form included in senior packet) to the Main Office by April 16, 2021. The formal ceremony will follow the IDPH guidelines for spectator attendance.

Silver Cord

Senior students who have completed 200 or more volunteer service hours will be distinguished with Silver Cord hours at graduation.  Hours are submitted on the school’s Key Club web page; however, students do not need to be a member of Key Club to log hours.  All hours must be logged by the end of the first week in May.

Senior Google Accounts

Seniors, please remember that your school email address will be disabled and deleted at the close of this school year. Make sure to gather any documents, presentations, email addresses, etc. that you would like to keep prior to graduation.
