MTHS is proud to have approximately 12,000 living alumni and many others who are not alumni but consider Metamora home. The primary goal of the Alumni & Friends Office is to engage as many of those individuals as possible and share the good news happening daily at 101 W. Madison.

A second goal of our office is to fundraise dollars that can be used to enhance the experience of being a Redbird. Your donations so far have enabled our office to fund a number of curricular and extracurricular items that have been beneficial for our students. In the past year, your donations funded:

• Spanish field trip to the National Museum of Art

• Personalized warm-up shirts for all Unified Redbirds

• A chop saw for our world class robotics program

• Life jackets for our bass fishing team

• A classroom library for our special education department

• Professional easels for our fine arts department

• A flexible seating lab for a math classroom

• A BizInnovator training kit for our business department

• Touch Pros interactive touch screen system to maintain school records, photos, etc.

• Large pictures of all athletic teams that earned state trophies for our main hallway

• Enhancements to our trophy cases and other displays in the main hallway
