Ed Rising Activies

Educators Rising (formerly named Future Teachers of America) is a club for students interested in pursuing a career in education. Anyone considering a career as a teacher, counselor, principal, coach, guidance counselor, or one of the many other professions associated with education is welcome to join.

The club will meet once or twice a month and will include activities like guest speakers, field trips to area colleges of education, job shadowing, volunteer activities, participation in state and national conferences, and leadership opportunities.

There is a yearly membership fee of $20 to cover national organization dues, but scholarships are available to cover the fee in cases of economic hardship.
