You MUST fill out this order form online and be paid by Wednesday September 18th to get coffee on Monday the 23rd.
You may pay Mrs. Hurst with Cash or Check before school, after school or during C lunch. You can find her in one of the gyms or outside the PE locker rooms. Checks should be made out to MTHS.
AGAIN: You must pay by or before Wednesday, Sept 18th in order to receive your coffee on Monday Sept 23rd
HoCo Kick-off 6th Annual Bonfire Party!
Sunday, September 22, 2024
MTHS welcome students, parents and community members to this fun event on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 PM. The bonfire will kick-off 2024 Homecoming week. Come and enjoy dinner and snacks at the food trucks (Tropical Sno, Swanee's Soft Pretzels, The Station, Gramma Nana's Cookies), then have fun throughout the night with music, class tug-of-war competitions, lawn games and inflatables. Homecoming attendants will be announced at the Bonfire.
You won't want to miss this fun night!
Class Kickball
Deadline for team sign-up: Thursday Sept. 19th
Battle of the Classes in Kickball!
Once all teams are signed up, a bracket will be released at the bonfire on Sunday Sept 22nd.
The kickball games will begin immediately at 7:00pm under the lights on Malone Field. You must sign up to be on a team before the event. Team captains will be organizing shirt color and rotations. If you are not playing, you may stay and cheer for your class! Community members are welcome! There is NO COST to attend. There will not be any concessions or food options at this event.
Wednesday Sept 25th Homeroom Cookout
Lunch will be a cookout sack lunch at the football stadium. If you would like to bring a blanket to sit on with your friends that is wonderful! All grades will be outside eating and hanging out from 11:35-12:35pm. Freshman and Sophomores will go through the line first followed by Juniors and Seniors. While you are not eating, you can choose to play outdoor games near the endzone, walk the track with your friends, or sit and relax (maybe even get a nap).
Our rain plan is a picnic style lunch inside.

Wednesday Sept 25th
Now Showing: Charlie And The Chocolate Factory @ Malone Field 7:30pm
We welcome all students, parents, and families of the community to join us for movie night. We will have concessions available for purchase with popcorn, candy, and drinks.
We will also be providing FREE Cotton Candy while supplies last.
Grab your friends and bring your own blankets and chairs to find a good spot for the movie!

Freshman in Garber gym at 5:00pm
JV in Toepke Gym at 5:00pm
Varsity in Toepke Gym at 6:00pm
Be on the look-out for giveaways and incentives for attending the Volleyball game!
Fun Friday for MTHS students!
1st Annual HoCo Showcase
We will be showcasing many different teams, clubs, and activities at MTHS in the Auditorium. Get ready for chants, songs, performances, announcements, and MORE!
Pep Rally
If you would like to participate in a Pep Rally game, you need to sign up at lunch by September 20th. The HoCo committee will randomly choose from students who sign up and notify students if they are chosen to represent their class during the pep rally.
HoCo Friday Tailgate!
The tailgate will begin after the parade around 4pm in the grass area outside CTE building and Toepke Gym. We will be passing out custom sunglasses to the first 100 students who attend.
Students with student ID pay $3 to receive a hotdog, chip, and water.
Homecoming Parade
Friday, September 27, 2024
The Homecoming Parade will be Friday, September 27, 2024 at 2 pm throughout Metamora. Check out the parade route to help you find your best viewing location!
The theme for this year's Homecoming is "CANDYLAND". Line up begins at 1:00 pm in the parking lot near the baseball/softball complex off Wiedman Road. Please note the parade staging map (staging has changed from previous year). All 1st Responder vehicles will stage behind the CTE wing. Youth drop off for team/organization floats will be at the North Lot.

Homecoming Dance
Saturday, September 28th, 2024 7:00-10:00pm @ The Stadium
Students if you are planning on bringing a guest to the homecoming dance that is not a current MTHS student, you must have a dance request form filled out and turned into the Assistant Principal's Office no later than Wednesday, September 25th. Forms are available on the wall outside the Assistant Principal's Office.
