Due to an MTHS Board of Education Member moving outside of our district boundaries, we currently have an open seat on our Board. The Board of Education is seeking a qualified candidate to fill this vacant position until the April 6, 2027, consolidated election.
At a minimum, a candidate must meet the following State of Illinois required qualifications:
Be a United States citizen
Be at least 18 years of age
Be a resident of Illinois and the District for at least one year immediately preceding the appointment
Be a registered voter
Not be a child sex offender
Not hold another incompatible public office
Not hold certain types of prohibited State or federal employment
