💃 Big Moves & Bigger Hearts! ❤️
Our Metamora Dance Teamspent some time off the floor and in the classroom this week! These talented athletes headed over to Northmoor Primary School in Peoria to serve as guest readers and mentors.
It wasn’t just about the books—it was about being leaders and showing these young students what teamwork and dedication look like.
Thank you, ladies, for being such incredible ambassadors for MTHS. You’re proof that leadership happens both on and off the stage!

MTHS 2026 Yearbooks can still be ordered while they last. They are now being sold on a first come/first serve basis until we run out as we now have a set number ordered. There are still some available but order ASAP before they are taken. Yearbooks will come in when school starts and extras may be availalble but it is not guaranteed. We are currently not sold out but we have sold out in recent years.

MARS/WARS ended their season today finishing 2nd in the Hopper Division which is one of 8 divisions. Those 8 divisions total 600 teams from around the world. They had an amazing showing from start to end. On top of this accomplishment they won 2 regionals. Out of the 3,700 FIRST teams MARS/WARS ranks within the top 48! Until next year.

MARS/WARS is moving into the elimination rounds in the Hopper Division. We appreciate all our fans at home cheering us along!

Good luck to Mars Wars today at the World Championships in Houston, Texas!

Last night, the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica Cardinales chapter inducted 50 new members! This group of students has maintained a 3.75 GPA overall and a 3.75 GPA in their Spanish classes! We also honored Mia Freiden, an AATSP Joseph Adams Senior Scholarship recipient for 2026, at the school awards ceremony. One applicant is allowed per chapter for this national award, and this is the 2nd MTHS winner since the chapter started in 2023. ¡Viva los Cardinales!

For the 3rd year the MARS/WARS team has welcomed local grade school students into Shoff Field for MARS SPARKS workshops. This week the team welcomed 200 4th grade students from Metamora & Germantown Hills grade schools.
