Congrats to Eli Crow for winning Frau Fandel's March Madness of German Music contest! Eli beat out all of Frau Fandel's other students. Sehr gut gemacht, Eli!

Huge congratulations are in order for our incredible staff! 🏆 🔴 ⚪️
Last night, members of our Redbird family were honored at the ISBE Those Who Excel Banquet, and we couldn't be prouder of their dedication to our students and community.
Celebrating Excellence
Please join us in congratulating Chris Mettler and Jared Hart for their nominations for the ISBE Those Who Excel Award! This recognition is a testament to the hard work, heart, and expertise they bring to Metamora Township High School every single day.
We are also beyond thrilled to celebrate Erinn Setterlund-Ambrochs! Erinn was officially recognized as the West Central Illinois Teacher of the Year and is a distinguished member of the Illinois Teacher of the Year Cohort. 🌟 🍎
Having a regional Teacher of the Year right here in our hallways is an incredible honor, and we are so lucky to have her leading the way for our students.
Thank you, Chris, Jared, and Erinn, for representing MTHS with such distinction. Our school is a better place because of you!

Another great day in the Roman Empire. Honors DC Humanities enjoyed an authentic Roman wedding this week, with the throwing of walnuts and the capturing of the bride. Cheers!

🏛️ LEADERSHIP IN ACTION! 🏛️
A group of our MTHS students had the incredible opportunity to participate in Senator Tom Balkema’s Youth Advisory Council! 🇺🇸🔴⚫️
Our Redbirds spent the day engaging directly with the legislative process, discussing important community issues, and learning what it takes to develop policy at the state level. It was an inspiring day of civic engagement, and we are so proud of these students for using their voices to represent the Metamora community.
A huge thank you to Senator Balkema for hosting our students and providing this invaluable look into the world of public service! 🦅✨

Unified PE took a trip to Brighton Park today! We LOVED that the park had ADA equipped options for all students to have a great time. Inclusion matters, and we are so lucky to have a park like this in our community neighborhood.
