Thank you to The Illinois Prairie District Public Library and Mrs. Nelson for hosting author James McBride! He was exactly what the students hoped for...and so much more! It was a busy night at MTHS last night, and although many of our student-athletes couldn't make it, they also sent their love to McBride! Here are a few amazing quotes from the author himself:
-"My life is colored by my experiences."
-"Thoughts and reason, not the raised fist, changes lives."
-"What makes our culture so powerful is our creative impulses."
-"Apathy is a form of self-destruction."
THANK YOU, James McBride!

Unified game! We ❤️ our Redbirds!!
