Your Unified Redbirds are proud to share a few special pictures from our second annual Sensory Santa event. Because of our supportive community, we are able to host this free event for families who don't often get to experience special time with Santa. We want to give a huge shout-out to photographer Jen Micheletti for donating her time and talent to our event. Finally, we couldn't do it with you, Santa! ❤️💚

Intro to American Education Dual Credit and Educators Rising headed to MGS to do activities with our kindergarten friends today! It was a full-circle moment for a few high schoolers who were able to join their very own beloved former K teachers on the other side of the fence. "When you learn, teach. When you get, give" (Maya Angelou).

Dual Spanish IV students worked with 3rd grade bilingual students at Lincoln Grade School in Peoria. Students made crafts and decoration trees all in Spanish! Great memories were made! Then they sang carols in Spanish at our very own Riverview Grade School!

Parents and Guardians of MTHS Students: This morning, MTHS had a small electrical fire in an HVAC unit within the girls' PE locker room. An MTHS staff member pulled the fire alarm, and our students moved outside per our procedures. The fire quickly went out on its own, emergency services arrived on campus to assist, and as soon as emergency services gave us clearance, we moved the students back into the building out of the cold. Our students and staff did a great job following our procedures, and we are very proud of how everyone conducted themselves. Thank you, MTHS Administration
