Meet your Suspects for CLUE: Miss Scarlett (played by Bri Short) Bri is a junior this year! She had the wonderful opportunity to portray Cinderella in last year's musical, Cinderella. Bri has been involved in community theatre since she was 8 years old. She is considering a career in special education but plans to continue acting one way or another. Bri would like to thank the cast and crew for such a wonderful experience and production. Enjoy the show! CLUE will be performed at the Kenneth H. The Unified Redbirds had a blast today at the Mid-Illini Unified games hosted by Washington Community High School! Games, friendships, laughs, and a dance party on the 50-yard line! We couldn't ask for a better day!

The Unified Redbirds would like to thank our buddies from the Unified Panthers team for an awesome event on Tuesday. The team meal and the Unified Volleyball game were the highlight of our week! See you for a rematch on Sept. 28th, Unified Panthers!

Everyone wins when you play Unified! MTHS hosted Washington in a Unified Volleyball Game last night; thank you for everyone's support! The smiles say it all!

We have two college reps coming to MTHS on Thursday, Sept. 7th.SIU-E and SIU-C will be available in the Commons during lunch for students who wish to learn more about the college application process, scholarships, course offerings, and all things related to their college.

Students in Video Production are learning how to manually focus their cameras this week.

Hayden Klinger completed "The Big M Challenge" in PE on Tuesday August 29th. The last student to complete the challenge was Matthew Morse in 2021. Great job Hayden! 💪

Art One: 3D and Woods Production students had the pleasure of listening to Dwight Hershberger share his experiences, advice, and work as a wood carver today. Art students are halfway through their own plaster carving figures and so it was great to get another perspective from someone who does it everyday.

CALLING ALL REDBIRD FANS!!! On September 5th, Metamora will be hosting Washington in a conference Volleyball match-up. Our Unified Volleyball team is so excited to show their talent between the Freshman and Sophomore game at 5:45pm. Please come out to support our Unified Volleyball players and stay to cheer on our Redbird team to a victory!!!

Football Schedule Update Tonight's Freshman game has been canceled. Gates Open at 5:30 PM tonight. Concession worker blankets can go down at 5:00 PM. Senior Night Introductions will begin at 6:25 PM. The Varsity Game will Kickoff at 7:30 PM. Wear white tonight in support of our seniors. We look forward to seeing you cheer on our Redbirds! Freshmen will now play Eureka on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at MTHS at 2:00 PM.

Unified PE students staying cool in PE with circus games!

2023 yearbooks are in and have been distributed at school. Graduates may pick their book up at MTHS during school hours or have someone pick it up for them. Some extra books are available in the main office for $51. If you have any questions email sdanner@mths.us. Thanks!
