Congratulations to Hayden Klinger, a six-year member of the First Ascent Peoria Elite Team, who earned a 3rd-place finish at the USA Youth Climbing Regionals in Arlington Heights, Chicago! Competing against 27 top youth climbers from six states, Hayden’s performance secured him a place at Divisionals. There, he’ll climb alongside the top 13 athletes from our region against the best from another six-state zone. The top 6 from that round will head to the National Championships in Portland, Oregon. Congratulations to Hayden on his continued success!

We have a beautiful day to honor a great graduating class. The 2025 MTHS graduation ceremony will be outside on Malone Field today. Gates will open at 2:45 PM for all guests; no tickets are required. Staff members will be available to help anyone who needs assistance at the ticket booths. If you are unable to sit outside today in the heat, we will also live-stream the ceremony in our auditorium for our out-of-town guests; they can watch by clicking here. Graduates need to arrive at the Toepke Gym by 2:30 PM. Members of the Class of 2025 should park in the back CTE parking lot and enter the building by the woodshop. Please use the Grove entrance by the Library. We look forward to celebrating our students today during our formal graduation ceremony. Have a great day, and congratulations to all of our graduates.

MTHS Seniors spent their first day of summer break volunteering at the Germantown Hills Laps for Life event! Reporting for duty at 7 AM, these students helped construct the obstacle course and run events such as the K-4 relays, Warp Wall, and Kona Ice Truck until 3 PM. Germantown Hills District #69 raised $35,000 for St. Jude, and our students were blessed to help their cause! #redbirds #st. jude
