Announcing the 2023 Fall Play!
CLUE
Directed by Tyler Smith
From Broadway Licensing:
CLUE is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by Wadsworth, the butler, Miss Scarlett, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out … WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!
There will be an Informational Meeting for interested students on Tuesday, May 9th from 6 pm-7 pm in the Auditorium. Auditions will be held on Friday, May 19th from 6 pm-8 pm in the Auditorium. Questions? Contact the Director at tsmith@mths.us
The production dates of CLUE are:
September 15-17, 2023
We hope to see you there!

MTHS is excited to announce the first annual signing day for our future educators! This event is aligned with the Educators Rising National Signing Day, happening nationwide on Tuesday, May 2.

MTHS enjoyed hosting the Mid-Illini Student Council meeting today. There was a great speaker, and students enjoyed developing ideas to improve their school.

Congratulations to Alex Fike and Izac Clelland on receiving $500 off tuition at MTI for participating in their welding competition this past weekend!

Spanish IV Honors students studied the history of piñatas, so of course making a piñata from scratch had to be the final activity! Students gave directions in Spanish after watching a How-to video only once. They turned out fabulous, and now we all know the origin and meaning behind piñatas!

We are SO PROUD of these artists. 24 students from MTHS displayed work in this year’s Mid Illini Art Show. A number of them received Merit and Honorable Mention awards.
Merit Awards: Madelyn Cooksey and Ava Covington
Honorable Mention: Morgan Viggers, Ryann Robinson, Nina Odum, and Bella Signore

Today Educators Rising members heard all about what it's like to be a student teacher from our own outstanding student teacher, Miss Haggerty. Spoiler alert: There's more to student teaching than just teaching students, but it's a challenging adventure well worth the effort.

Students in AP Calculus BC are cheering on their classmates on MARS/WARS 4143 in Houston.

Mrs. Dale’s Digital Imaging classes are practicing a panning technique using a slow shutter speed while following a moving subject. Officer Cummings was kind enough to volunteer to ride a skateboard so students could practice.

Robotics trivia night was a huge success raising $5000 to help get the team to Houston for the World Championship!
