Leadership Shines Bright! ✨
We're thrilled to celebrate three of our outstanding students—Griffin Hanson, Mitchell Hohulin, and Cooper Facker—on their recent accomplishments in National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT), a premier leadership program from Scouting America!
Griffin and Mitchell recently completed the intensive week-long training, which transforms participants into the next generation of leaders. Cooper served as Staff for the training, further demonstrating his commitment to mentoring and leadership.
NYLT integrates modern leadership theory with the traditional strengths of the Scouting experience, covering topics like:
* Communicating
* Finding Your Vision
* Setting Your Goals
* Solving Problems
* Developing a Team
* Servant Leadership
* Embracing and Leading Change
The skills they've gained will not only benefit them but also MTHS and our wider community. A study even shows that Scouts earn higher grades and are more likely to participate in after-school activities!
Join us in congratulating Griffin, Mitchell, and Cooper! We can't wait to see how they apply their new skills to make a difference at school and beyond.

Did you know all three of these MTHS Fine Arts teachers are certified to teach multiple subjects --both fine arts and other disciplines? We are lucky to have such versatile, inspirational teachers. Thanks to Mr. Danner, Mr. Hilligoss, and Mr. Ray for coming to speak at Educators Rising this morning!

Wisdom for the week: “Paws what you’re doing—German class is barking with opportunity!”
This week we’re spotlighting German class!
Learning a new language opens doors you didn’t even know existed. German is not only spoken by over 100 million people worldwide, but it’s also the most widely spoken language in Europe. Taking German gives you a chance to:
• Connect with new cultures and people.
• Build skills that look great on college and job applications.
• Challenge your brain and improve memory.
• Open opportunities in travel, science, engineering, and business—fields where German is a leading language.

This week’s Wags of Wisdom: Make sure your message is worth carrying!
Dual credit Biology class is studying Central Dogma. DNA gives the message, RNA carries it, and proteins act it out—just like your thoughts, words, and actions. Make sure your message is worth carrying.
