Today in Honors British Literature, the witches cast a spell to reveal to Macbeth his seemingly secure future, but if we've learned anything from this play, it's that "Fair is foul..."

Huge thank you to Eric Hodel from Midwest Foodbank for being our guest speaker this morning at Key Club. He challenged our students to keep volunteering and serving our local communities because the need is great. Our kids had the opportunity to package goods last week that will be shipped South for those in need. Additionally, we are excited to announce that the 2025-2026 MTHS Key Club group won the Salvation Army Young Leadership Award.

MAKING REDBIRD HISTORY!

Join us in celebrating a monumental moment for Metamora Township High School athletics! Calli Willman has officially made history as the very first Redbird to qualify for the IHSA Girls Wrestling State Finals! 🤼‍♀️💪

Calli’s hard work, grit, and determination on the mat have blazed a new trail for our wrestling program. She isn't just competing; she’s a pioneer for MTHS, and we couldn’t be more proud to have her representing us on the state's biggest stage.

Calli, your Redbird family is behind you every step of the way. Go out there, wrestle hard, and show the state what you are made of!

Students in Honors British Literature worked hard to analyze and stage for each other their unique interpretations of the climax of Shakespeare's play Macbeth. Now, we are all wondering: how much farther can our tragic hero fall?

⚾️ NEXT LEVEL REDBIRDS! ⚾️

Join us in congratulating four of our senior baseball standouts who officially signed their letters of intent last week to compete at the collegiate level! 🖊️

Surrounded by family and coaches in the MTHS Commons, these athletes made their futures official:

🔹 Brant Adams – Kishwaukee College (Malta, IL)
🔹 Stephen Petri – Carl Sandburg College (Galesburg, IL)
🔹 Cole Smith – Carl Sandburg College (Galesburg, IL)
🔹 Mason Sauder – Carl Sandburg College (Galesburg, IL)

We are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication these young men have shown on and off the field. We look forward to watching them lead the Redbirds through a fantastic senior season before they head off to their respective college quests next year!
