September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and Student Council is excited to team up with OSF Children's Hospital in Peoria, IL to bring awareness and happiness to children suffering from cancer in our community. Many students at MTHS volunteer at the Children's' Cancer Center in Peoria, and they know how much joy a colorful band-aid brings to children enduring treatment. Student Council will be pre-selling pizza slices from Tuesday, September 9 - Thursday, September 11 at a discounted price with the donation of a colorful box of band-aids. Slices are $5 per slice, or $3 a slice with a band-aid donation. Student Council appreciates your support in this meaningful fundraiser!

Wags of Wisdom from Crosby:
Being kind and helpful doesn’t just make someone else’s day brighter—it makes you feel good, too! A simple act, like holding the door, helping a classmate, or offering a smile, can create ripples of kindness all around our school. Let’s keep wagging those tails of kindness together! Thank you to Charlotte Nauman for being kind and helpful by filling Crosby’s water dish every morning.
