Hayley Jones and Makenna Reeves both walked away with Honorable Mentions for their photography. Addison Suarez received 2nd place and Morgan Viggers earned 1st place - both for their painting. US History students in Mrs. Morris's class concluded their study of the Holocaust by reflecting on the power of a life well-lived. Each person wrote a letter of thanks to someone who has impacted his or her life for the better! We are thankful for all who make a positive difference in the lives of our students!

Congratulations to the JV Scholastic Bowl team for winning the Mid-Illini Tournament this past weekend! The team was led by all-tournament team members Trevor Heil and Nate Alonso! Go Birds!

So proud of these two artists that were not only awarded gold keys for their work in the regional Scholastic Art Show (the highest award possible), but also won additional awards. Morgan Viggers won The American Visions Award (one of only five given out). Bella Signore won the Ceramic Achievement Award. We are so proud of their hard work!

The Unified Redbirds would like to thank the Germantown Grille for donating a $100 gift card for our Chuck-A-Duck event for Friday's game. We would also like to thank photographer Jen Micheletti for donating her time taking the best media day pictures of our Unified players!

Student Council invites the MTHS student body to the Winter Informal Dance on Saturday, February 10 in the Old Gym. Dancing begins at 7 pm and ends at 10 pm. Students will be able to purchase ice cream treats and dance the night away! Come enjoy and dance the night away!
